on the sunny side of the Sesto Valley - on 1.850 metres above sea level.

Here at one of the most beautiful spots in south tyrol you can enjoy a fascinating view on the Sesto Dolomites - UNESCO world heritage - which range of peaks rises on the opposite side of the valley.

Our rustic mountain hut is located in the middle of a clear larch forest between Sesto, the village of the Three Peaks 3 Zinnen and Monte Elmo, which belongs to one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains of the carnic alps. Here runs the border line between Italy and Austria.

How to reach us:

In Winter - directly on the slope

In winter the valley descent of ski resort Monte Elmo - 3 Zinnen Dolomites for Sesto passes directly our hut. In immediate proximity: lift connection via Stiergarten to 3-Zinnen-slope and following ski lift Signaue for Croda Rossa.

Winter hiking

Hikers, snow shoe hikers or ski tourers reach us from museum parking at - Fortress Mitterberg in about 45 minutes.

Summer

Starting from top station Monte Elmo a broad forest road leads to our hut in about 30 minutes.

Arriving from Sesto park your car on museum parking Fortress Mitterberg. From there your reach us in about 45 minutes. Also perfectly suitable for baby carriages!
